Dog Pound/First Practice Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
RJW 2nd Practice: Tuesday, December 2, 2025, @ 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday Practice through December.
Saturday Rec matches begin January 3, 2026, and continue every Saturday thereafter through February 21, 2026.

SUPPORT RIDGEWOOD JR WRESTLING
Ridgewood Junior Wrestling constantly improves the quality of youth wrestling by bringing in new equipment, uniforms, professional coaches and a foundation of sustainability for all youth wrestlers. To continue our growth, we are asking your support to help fund these initiatives.
Ridgewood Junior Wrestling Inc. is classified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the standards of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The donation may be considered tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
Schedule
The 2025/26 season will begin in November on a date to be determined, subject to the availability of the High School gym. Practices will be same as last year, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Beginning with times and groups to be finalized before the start of the season. Please check Grpoupspot for all schedule updates.
RJW’s season begins at the end of November and runs through the beginning of March. Wrestlers typically practice 2-3 Evenings per week.
Winter 2025-2026 Practice Days & Times:
Tuesdays & Thursdays:
Dog Pound/1st Practice: 6:30 – 7:30pm /
2nd Practice 7:30 – 8:30 pm
Saturdays:
RJW Practice: 1:00 – 2:00pm /
All practices will take place in Ridgewood High School’s Gym 2. (Please note that Saturday practices will not be held when a rec meet is scheduled).
Registration
Community PassRegistration is to be completed through Ridgewood’s Community Pass.
Communication
GroupSpotAll communication for those enrolled in RJW will take place through the Group Spot application.
Equipment
All youth wrestlers must have wrestling shoes, wrestling headgear and a water bottle with your wrestler’s name on it.

What is Twin County Junior Wrestling League?
The Twin County Junior Wrestling League (TCJWL) is a youth wrestling organization that serves the Northern New Jersey counties of Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, and Morris. The league is designed to promote the sport of wrestling among young athletes, providing them with opportunities to learn, compete, and develop their skills in a structured yet nurturing environment.
What are the Rec Matches and Dual Team?
Rec Matches are open to all wrestlers for the JRW2022-2023 season. RJW’s Dual Team competes in the Twin County Wrestling League.
