We are just around the corner from kicking off the 2024-2025 season. Below will give you information about what, when,
and where your wrestlers will need to do to participate. If you have not already registered on Community Pass, please
register as soon as possible.
Communications – Group Spot

We will be using the Group Spot app for all communications. Emails and notifications for practices, matches, tournaments
and other updates will come from Group Spot – so please sign up if you are a new member of RJW. To join, please use

Advanced: Tuesday December 3, 2024 @ 7:15 PM – 8:45 PM
Which practice should your wrestler attend?
ALL RETURNING WRESTLERS ARE TO ATTEND THE GROUP THEY WERE ASSIGNED LAST YEAR
FOR ALL FIRST-YEAR WRESTLERS PLEASE ATTEND THE DOG POUND/INTERMEDIATE PRACTICE
Please understand RJW will assess all wrestlers during the first few weeks of practices. As the coaches assess the wrestler’s skill, commitment and progress, the coaching staff may recommend that your wrestler move to a different group to get the best experience for your wrestler based on their skill level. Below please find RJW’s guidelines for setting the practice groups:
Dog Pound – K through 4th Grade with no experience, or 1-2 years of experience.
Intermediate – 5th through 8th Grade or a minimum of 2 years of wrestling experience.
Advanced – ages 10 and up with a minimum of 3 years of wrestling experience.
Practice Days & Times
Tuesdays & Thursdays
Dog Pound/Intermediate – 6:15 – 7:15 pm
Advanced 7:15 – 8:45 pm
Saturdays
Dog Pound/Intermediate – 1:00 – 2:00pm
Advanced 2:00 – 3:30 pm
Equipment
Wrestling Shoes, Wrestling Headgear, and a water bottle with your wrestler’s name on it.
We have plenty of shoes that are in the Wrestling Room in bins to wear all season, many of them only worn for one
season and are in good condition. You are welcome to grab a pair based on first come first served basis.
Parents are welcome to watch and help set up and take down the mats with us, any help that is provided is always
greatly appreciated.
